We explain about safety of our clay as follows,

* About the each materials of combination articles is controlled by MSDS(Material Safety Data Sheet) and by carrying out of acceptance inspection.

* About the making up products, CEC has been carrying out analysis requesting to Official Organization such as Japanese Food Analysis Center. The analyzed data is controlled according to the basic numerical values of Safety of Toys(ST) in the British Standard. The ST Standard of BS is widely recognized as a global standard.

* There are not any similar standards in JIS(Japan Industrial Standard). So, Japanese stationery industries has been comparing with ST standard of BS.

The result of the examination must be within the limit of the numerical value as mentioned below.

* CEC has data against almost all of the products. Of course all of numerical values are cleared below than basic numerical values. This is also against the pigments or heavy metal of paint including the color clay.

""About eating, coming into eyes or stimulative to skin""

This is against representative paper clay and oil clay.

CEC has been carrying out the giving medication examination of dissolved clay into water to mouse and etc to some researching organizations such as in universities.
 

1.Eating,

Giving medication high dosage of dissolved clay into water at the volume of 0.15ml/10g and 0.20ml/10g. It was discharged in excrement after 24 hours.

The influence was not recognized in general action until after 7 days passed.

2.Coming into eyes

Falling few drops into lower eyelids of crossbred rabbit and massage it 1 minute. By observing 18 hours, any change was not recognized around eyes or conjunctiva at all.

3.Shaving the back of a guinea pig and rubbed 0.1ml of dissolved clay into water. Any changing of the skin was not recognized after 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 24 hours at all.

""About antiseptic""
It is necessary adding antiseptic and anti-mold to paper clay. CEC has been managing arrangement for  adding them not too much within the limits its effectiveness fully appears.

And CEC began changing the antiseptic to food antiseptic like as white Clay Eco. The antiseptic which used in other clay is the grade for cosmetics.

""Vinyl chloride""
CEC does not use any vinyl chloride for products material and also packing materials.
 * We mentioned as above about safety, basically clay is not food. Please pay attention licking or eating by children.
 
 * There are also constitutional problems such as allergy, and it cannot say there is no problems in all. Also please pay much attention that children put the clay block into their mouth and stopped it up at the throat. Or do not use clay with injured hands.
